The Greater Western Reserve Council will be taking a contingent to the 2010 National Scout Jamboree. July 26 – August 4, 2010 at Fort A.P. Hill, Caroline County, Virginia

Qualifications for Scouts:

• Be at least a First Class Scout at time of attendance at Jamboree
• Have completed sixth grade or be at least 12 years of age by July 1, 2010, and has not reached his 18th birthday by August 2, 2010.
• Participate in pre-jamboree training experience.
• Submit a Jamboree Medical Form
• Be approved by his Scoutmaster and the local council jamboree committee.

Financial Details:

Reserve your place now with a $100 Application Non-Refundable Deposit. The total estimated cost for youth participants will be $1500.00 to $1700. Total cost will be determined as we get information for national. This fee includes transportation, meals and lodging en route to and from the jamboree, special patches, neckerchief, patrol and troop equipment, a Jamboree training weekend, and a sightseeing trip (2005 Jamboree went to Washington D.C.). A payment schedule will be announced with installments due beginning Fall 2008, and the final payment due February 2010.
