This directory for Whispering Pines District Units is for conducting Scout business and is current as of the 03/31/2006 Recharter Units listing as provided by our DE. It's up to your unit to be sure the information below is correct and current.
All District Volunteers and Staff were moved to a separate page as this was getting quite long.
All phone numbers without an area code included are area code 330. Depending on where you live and your phone service provider, some 330 numbers may be long distance and require a leading '1'.

Units and Unit Leaders: Please remember, until I get something authorizing the publication of your information (an email works) I cannot add your information here.

The unit information may be sorted in order by any of the columns. Give the column heading a mouse-click and the column will be sorted by that column. A second click on the same column will reverse the sort. This requires a 4.x or newer browser.
Beginning with the May 2006 update, the listing now includes Meeting Day and Time column. Please try to keep us current with this information. Any problems? Please let the webmaster know.
If you're new to Scouting, be aware of the following:
  • Cub Packs (grades 1 thru 5) usually meet as a Pack on a monthly basis. Dens (6-9 Cubs of the same age) usually meet weekly.
  • Boy Scout Troops (ages 11 thru 18) Usually meet weekly. Some troops have 1 meeting a month dedicated to planning & only youth leaders and scoutmasters attend.
  • Venture Crews (ages 14 thru 21, co-ed) set their own meeting schedules. Usually, weekly, some every other week.
  • Your best bet is to check the unit web site or the contact person listed. If no one is listed, try the District Exec Sarah.
