Canfield Fair Events Whispering Pines District conducts many activites associated with the Annual Canfield Fair. For those of you new to the area, the Canfield fair is also the Mahoning County Fair and is one of the largest if not the largest county fair in the country. You can find almost anything and everything at the fair, from endless varieties of food, games, rides, animal displays, equipment displays, art and floral displays, the list goes on and on. The District is involed with several Fair events. The most popular is the Scout area. Scout units take turns helping vistors enjoy uniqely Scout rides and games, they camp overnight at the Fairgrounds raise and lower the Flags each day of the Fair and generally have a great time. Units must register in advance to participate in this. Building 25 has display space available so you can show what your unit does during the year.
