Cub Scout Freezeout

aka Cub Mud-out. Spend all day Saturday in February in the woods of Camp Stambaugh with a Pack of Cubs! Because of the turnout, this is held on two weekends. · We are limiting each weekend to 250 youth. Please register as soon as possible and reserve your spot.
The challenge for you the leader is to not pick the one where it's 33° and sunny. The Cubs have a great time all day doing Cub stuff. Should the temperature be just warm enough, by afternoon the meadow in front of Walker is almost a swamp. The Cubs are delighted! Mud for everyone.
Additionally, most Packs rent a cabin for a night and spend the night at Stambaugh. The District event is only from 8 to 4; everything else is your responsibility to keep the boys entertained and well fed.
